Judge to perform off-site Valentine’s Day weddings

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque residents looking to tie the knot this Valentine’s Day won’t be able to at Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court, but on off-site location instead.

The court usually offers a central place for couples to get married on Valentine’s Day, but this year, Judge Frank Sedillo will perform the weddings on his own time.

According to a news release, he will be at three different locations throughout the city at scheduled times. To set up an appointment, couples need to bring their marriage licenses to Sedillo’s office on the ninth floor of the metro court bye Thursday, Feb. 12.
