Mark’s Wednesday Evening Weather Report

Could Records Fall?

nm weather

A shallow but very chilly cold front continues to sit over northeastern New Mexico tonight. Temperatures will be cold dipping down into the teens in many areas of eastern New Mexico thanks to the front. The front though, won’t have a big impact over the next few days as temperatures quickly moderate. In fact, we should end up well above average temperature wise by Friday and Saturday with records in jeopardy by Saturday afternoon across the east.

In the Albuquerque metro area will top out in the low 60’s over the next couple of days. By the weekend we should be in the mid to high 60’s with mostly sunny skies. Our next chance of the storm is likely going to wait until the middle of next week. More on that as we get closer.
