ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Hope you enjoyed those super low gas prices, because it looks like they’re starting to come to an end. Triple A says prices have started to stabilize. After checking around Albuquerque many stations have increased prices in the last couple days.

People traveling through New Mexico say New Mexicans have it better than others across the country. The national average right now is 2.04. The average in New Mexico is $1.86, $1.26 less than the same week last year. Analysts expect the prices to continue to rise, they say its quite possible drivers will see $4 a gallon gas come summer.
