Taylor Swift quickly responds to social media hacking

(KRQE) – The fourth largest Twitter account, owned by Taylor Swift, was hacked early on Tuesday, along with her Instagram. The singer was quick to respond to her millions of fans on both her Tumblr profile and later, on her restored Twitter account.

Those who took part in the cyber attack tweeted out to Swift’s 51 million plus fans to follow users named ‘lizzard’ and ‘veriuser’.

Eventually, Swift’s accounts were restored and the posts removed. After the incident, Swift was taunted online by purportedly the same people, threatening to leak nude photos of Swift if users sent them Bitcoins.

Swift’s reply was quick and to the point.

The user profiles of ‘lizzard’ and ‘veriuser’, have now been banned from Twitter.
