Teens escape from youth correctional facility

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, police captured the second teen who escaped from a youth correctional facility last Thursday.

Michael DeHerrera, 18, was found at a family member’s home in northwest Albuquerque.

Nicholes Davis, 17, was also missing, but police found him around 5 p.m. Sunday walking near Coors and Rio Bravo.

Both teens escaped the Children, Youth and Families Department Camino Nuevo Youth Facility last week while on work detail near Fourth Street and Montano.
