NM boy gets Super Bowl wish

Cesar Perez

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – A Roswell boy is going to the Super Bowl all thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Cesar Perez is battling lymphoblastic lymphoma, an aggressive form of cancer that affects the body’s immune system.

Perez and his family will go to Phoenix this weekend where they’ll tour the stadium, go to NFL Experience and of course the big game between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.

Cesar’s mom says he’s been a football player and fan for most of his life. Cesar has been undergoing treatment for a year and a half and should be wrapping up chemo in May. His mom says he’s doing well and he is one of 12 kids the Make-A-Wish Foundation is sending to the Super Bowl.
