Girl Scouts add two new cookies and online ordering

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – It’s that time of year again, but with new additions that will leave your mouth watering.

Girl Scout Cookies is vamping up their flavors, going high tech, and having a cookie challenge.

Two new cookies were added this season, Rah-Rah Raisin and the new gluten-free Toffee-Tastic.

There are two new ways to order, too. Find a cookie booth with an app or buy cookies online.

Starting Feb. 8, at the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown from 2 to 4 p.m., the Girl Scouts are having a cookie challenge.

This challenge is an exciting event for the girls that they have renamed a FUNraiser.

At the challenge, chefs from across the state will create delicious desserts and treats made from Girl Scout cookies, silent auctions, cookie eating competitions, photo booths, and face paintings.

Proceeds from this FUNraiser will help to provide programs for Girl Scouts.

Cookie sales begin Feb. 16 and booth sales will be from March 6 through March 29.
