Explora offers after-school Robo Task Force program

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – After-school programs are great for physical activities, but there’s a program that is healthy for the mind, too.

Robo Task Force at Explora! can put children’s imagination into motion.

This 12-week program is divided into three categories; the first four weeks ask the students to think like a robot, the next four will introduce building robotic systems, and the last four weeks will engage students in robot missions.

The task force will build the children’s experience with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) while they construct robots.

This is an opportunity for students grades 3 to 7 who are interested in the STEM courses and want to explore construction, develop materials, gain principles of electronics, and design robots.

Classes start Jan. 27 and go through April 28.

For Explora! members class fees are $195 and non-members are $230.
