Mitch Garver prepares for 2015

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Mitchell Garver threw out over 30 percent of would be base stealers while catching for the Cedar Rapids Kernels in 2014. He also hit 16 homers and drove in 79 runs. You could say it was a good year for the former Lobo and La Cueva star.

The Minnesota Twins 9th round pick of 2013 also made the all star team. Garver is ready for an even better 2015 season. Garver has been putting in off-season work at a place called America’s Pastime in northeast Albuquerque. He will leave for training camp Feb. 20.
