Lobos ready to take aim at Air Force

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Winning in Albuquerque hasn’t been a routine thing for the Air Force Falcons. In fact, The Lobos hold a 32 wins to 2 edge on Air Force at home. That includes last year’s senior night game that marked the last time the Lobos scored 10 or more threes in a game.

The Lobos have a 3 and 1 Mountain West record and have won the last seven games against the Falcons at home. That success is despite having to deal with the very rare Princeton offense that the Falcons like to run.

“If you can make them take contested shots, then you got a chance. But, when they start backcutting and you are out of position it can make you look foolish,” said head coach Craig Neal. “Hopefully our younger guys will understand that.”

The Lobos and Air Force Falcons have a 7 p.m. start time at WisePies Arena on Wednesday. The game will be broadcast on the ROOT Network.
