Rain and snow showers continue to develop over central and southern New Mexico this morning as our winter storm socks the state with one last punch of moisture. Roads and streets will be wet, and icy spots are not out of the question. Give yourself plenty of time to get where you need to go this Wednesday morning.
By this afternoon, most of the rain/snow activity will be pushed south of Interstate-40. It is likely that a few lingering showers hang on top of the northern mountains — accumulations will range from a dusting to a few inches.
Skies will clear from north to south beginning this afternoon through the overnight hours. Thursday will kick off our next warming trend with upper 40s and 50s filling in just in time for the weekend.
