Pedestrian struck by train in downtown ABQ

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – According to Rail Runner officials, a pedestrian was hit by an Amtrak train in downtown Albuquerque Friday afternoon.

Officials say it happened as the train was heading south at the Alvarado station.

One person was transported to the hospital.

No other details are available right now, including the victim’s condition.
