Mark’s Friday Evening Weather Report

More Wind Ahead!

A brief ridge of high-pressure will continue to scoot out of the state tonight. This will lead to a couple weak whether disturbances passing through the state over the weekend. The best chance for showers will be over the northern mountains but any snow should be on the light side. The biggest weather story of the weekend will begin to unfold on Sunday with much higher winds along the east slope so the northern mountains.

Winds will continue to rip across the state Monday and Tuesday with gusts topping and 40 mph in many areas. The chance for snow will begin to increase across the north Monday afternoon. We could see some decent accumulation at resort level by Monday night. We still have our eyes on a potential storm for Christmas Day. More on that as we get closer.
