‘All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth’

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – It’s not just a fun for the whole family event, it is also a way to give back to the community.

Duke City Repertaory Theatre, voted “Best Theatre” since 2011 by Albuquerque the Magazine, has a very well-known production for it’s fifth season, “All I want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth.” The unique part of this play is that adults will be playing the parts of children, which would seem to be a very challenging roll for these talented actors.

The theatre has also partnered up with S.A.F.E. House New Mexico and Enlace Comunitario to help with assistance to families who are victims of domestic violence. The three organizations are asking for donations of diapers, toys, and clothing to be brought to the theatre on the night of any perfomance of “All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth.”

Those who donate will be entered in a raffle for a chance to win free tickets to their next production in March 2015, “The 39 Steps,”  an award winning comedy.

The Cell Theatre is located at 701 1st Street NW and the last showing will be December 21. Friday and Saturday the show begins at 8pm and Sunday’s show will start at 2pm. Doors open a half hour before the show. Tickets for adults are $22 and Children 18 and under $7, Steniors, Students, and Military $14.
