Albuquerque police are looking for three teens they say planned to rob a man, but ended up killing him in a city park. It happened in October. Police say Miguel Zapata,18, Jacob Trujillo, 17, and Drew Griego, 17, texted another teen, posing as a girl to get him to show up at Kit Carson Park. Police say they planned on robbing Nicoles Aragon,19, but when he got there Zapata allegedly shot him before fleeing.

Adam Casaus, a former Albuquerque police officer, has served his first night in jail after being sentenced yesterday. Casaus was found guilty of careless driving for a crash that killed Ashley Browder, 21, in Feb. 2013. He is serving 90 days in jail.

Albuquerque police say the man who terrorized a neighborhood with an air soft rifle and pistol will face two misdemeanor charges, disorderly conduct and a propulsion of missiles charge.

Clovis police say they believe the murder of a young mother, Ariel Ulibarri, was no contract killing. That’s despite what the suspect, Matthew Jennings says. He originally told police that he’s killed Ulibarri because someone told him to do it. Jennings is accused of stabbing the young mother at Goodwin Trails Park last month.
