ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)- The Lobo’s were the underdogs coming into this game against then 8-1 Valparaiso. The Lobo’s must have still been on fire after that win against NMSU on Wednesday night, as their somewhat lackadaisical offense was on it again tonight.

Deshawn Delany started off slow only having 4 points in the first half, but the 2nd half was a different story. Delaney led the Lobo’s in points at the end of this one finishing up with 17. The big man Obij Aget was exactly the opposite of Delaney. He took control of the first half getting 10 points, but then didn’t get any in the 2nd half.

Two more Lobos ended up with 10 points, and that was senior leader Hugh Greenwood, and the surprising Devon Williams. Williams has been on a tear lately he also finished tied with Delaney for most rebounds with 6.

The Lobos went onto win big 63 to 46, and it seems that the Lobos are making a step in the right direction. They Play UL Monroe at home in the WisePies Arena next. That game is Saturday at 6 p.m., and it will also be showing on the Root Network.
