A very weak storm system is rolling through New Mexico tonight and that’s the reason for all the cloud cover today. This system doesn’t have much moisture with it, but there’s a chance for some light spot showers especially in southern New Mexico overnight. The storm will quickly exit around sunrise on Sunday and behind it drier air moves in. This will clear our skies out and warm temperatures back above average once again. Another weak storm system could roll in on Tuesday. This low pressure system could also trigger some showers in central and southern New Mexico. Despite the clouds and rain chance, temperatures will warm to above average readings for pretty much the entire week ahead.
