Hunted buck's antlers measure 232 inches

FARMINGTON, N.M. (KRQE) – A really big buck is getting a lot of attention in New Mexico. David Howell took down the biggest buck he’s seen in 38 years of hunting.

He got it in unit 2B near Bloomfield. The antlers measure 232 inches. However, even as big as it is, it’s far from a record.

The biggest mule deer hunted in New Mexico was in Rio Arriba County in 1963.
