Hearing delayed for doctor facing sex allegations

Christopher Driskill

HOBBS, N.M. (KRQE) – A hearing for a Hobbs doctor accused of having sex with patients, abandoning others and drinking on the job, has been delayed.

The medical board has suspended Dr. Christopher Driskill from practice and is considering revoking his license saying he poses a clear danger to the public. Driskill is fighting it and has requested a hearing.

The allegations accuse Driskill of everything from abandoning women giving birth, to have sex with other patients, to writing inappropriate personal notes in medical charts and being drunk on the job.

The hearing was set to take place on the December 14, but has now been put on hold possibly until next month.

The board hasn’t cited a reason for the delay.
