SANTA FE (KRQE) – The Santa Fe School of Cooking is celebrating 25 years in business, and they have big plans for this even bigger milestone. Happening Dec. 13, they will host a big party and will release a brand new cook book. The book will feature some of their most favorite recipes, along with new ones for people to enjoy at home.
The party will have food featuring recipes from the cookbook, a hands-on tamale making station and cookie decorating for the kids. Santa Claus will also be there, along with live music. They even have a small deal going where anyone who brings in a bag of non-perishable items receives a 25 percent discount on all items in the market. All of the food raised at the party will be donated to Feeding Santa Fe, Inc.
In honor of their achievement, an official proclamation was made from Mayor Javier Gonzales declaring Dec. 13 as “The Santa Fe School of Cooking Day.”
