Movie filming to affect roads, parking at UNM

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A movie filming in Albuquerque is expected to affect some roads and parking at UNM this week. Sources told KRQE News 13 the film The Scorch Trials will be filming on campus. The move is a sequel to the Maze Runner.

UNM says people who will be headed through the area should expect more congestion then normally and should plan ahead.

Specific areas impacted include:

  • Fifteen R Zone spaces along Campus Blvd. N.E. will be blocked through next Wednesday, Nov. 26.
  • Sections of M Zone will be closed next Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 24 & 25. All M spaces on Camino de Salud and Camino del Servicio, a section of M Lot near the Physical Plant Department and a portion of the I/M lot north of Tucker Blvd. will be blocked for film crews.
  • Trucks will be parked in the loading dock of the Domenici Center on Monday, Nov. 24. This may affect deliveries to Domenici.
