Our next storm system is beginning to move into New Mexico and snow is already developing around the Northern Mountains and in the Northeast. Snow will continue to fill-in overnight and move south along the cold front. Temperatures will be drastically colder tomorrow. The Northeast will be starting out in the single digits with Albuquerque struggling to bounce back into the 40s tomorrow afternoon.
It’s around sunrise that snow chances go up for the East Mountains and parts of the Eastern Plains. Albuquerque has a shot of picking up a rain/snow mix. This system isn’t going to hang around for very long so by the afternoon we will clear out and dry out. Milder temperatures return by week’s end with mostly sunny skies for much of the week ahead.
