ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Craig Neal’s Lobos started their season with a 79 to 55 victory over Idaho State Friday night. The Lobos started fast and never looked back. Sophomore guard Cullen Neal led the Lobos in scoring with 26 points. Senior guard Deshawn Delaney chipped in 12 points while sophomore center Obij Aget had a double double of 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Senior guard Hugh Greenwood had 8 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Eleven Lobos scored in the game, including juco transfer Jordan Goodman who picked his first minutes as a Lobo, The Lobos held the Bengals to 33.9 percent shooting. The Lobos host Cal State Fullerton Sunday.
