PMI to host event for skill building, networking

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Rio Grande Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) is pleased to announce the second annual International Project Management Day taking place at Sandia Casino on Nov. 6 and 7.

After last year’s sold out International Project Managers Day, the chapter increased the speaker offerings to include three primary speaker tracks: soft skills, popular project management subjects, and real world projects on Nov. 6. By attending this event, project managers and many other professionals can enhance their skills, improve their organizational value, earn valued professional development units, and network with speakers, vendors, sponsors, recruiters and colleagues. Registration is $175 for the whole day and includes lunch and a light breakfast.

Also, on Nov. 7, the PMI Rio Grande Chapter will host a half-day session focused on risk training with Dr. Saumyendu Ghosh. Dr. Ghosh will teach how to identify, analyze, assess and manage risk inherent to projects. Fee for this session is $300.
