ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Thousands of “Breaking Bad’ fans will commemorate AMC’s hit television series at this year’s inaugural two-day Breaking Bad Fan Fest. The festival will take place Friday, Nov. 7, through Saturday, Nov. 8. There will be separate events going on at a few different locations, including Tractor Brewery and Wells Park. With that being said, some events will be for those 21 and older, so be sure to check.
The Breaking Bad Fan Fest will leverage the same successful backdrop as the series with RV tours of filming locations throughout Albuquerque. The Fan Fest will include a panel discussion with featured cast members and crew, a VIP meet-and-greet, costume contest, trivia contest, go-kart racing and other activities.
The festival has been organized by actual fans of the series, Dr. Jennie Rexer and Miguel S. Jaramillo, who say this will become an annual event in Albuquerque.
For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the event website. Guests can purchase general admission tickets good for panel discussions and contests. Those wishing to also attend the meet-and-greet and join in on the filming locations tour can purchase VIP tickets to register.
