Superhero day brightens childrens' day at UNMH

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Brought to the community by Diana Vendresca and 94.5 The 80’s Channel, Superhero Day is a day where kids who are patients at UNM Children’s Hospital have the chance to enjoy themselves.

Volunteers dress up as favorite superheroes and rappel down the side of the hospital building. Superhero Day is also the culmination of a toy drive for the kids, which is still going on right now. New toy donations are being accepted at any branch of New Mexico Bank & Trust until Friday, Oct. 31. That day, people can also drop off toys at the hospital.

More than 90,000 kids are admitted into the hospital a year. For more information, visit to UNMCH’s Facebook page.
