ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) –Albuquerque Police are now investigating an overnight shooting that sent one man to the hospital. Police were called out to the area near Kit Carson Park by Tingley Beach since late Thursday night. Police blocked off several streets in and around the park. According to police one man was shot in the head and taken to a local area hospital. The victim had to undergo surgery. The identity and his condition is unknown at this time. Cops say someone, seen carrying a rifle, fled the area. No word yet on whether the shooter has been arrested.

If you need some free dental care this is your lucky weekend. New Mexico Mission of Mercy will have hundreds of dentists out at the Santa Ana Star Center, Friday and Saturday. Doors Open at 5:30 A.M.

Just last week volunteers out at the Carlsbad Caverns Picked up fifty-five pounds of lint. The lint comes from people’s clothes, dead skin, and even hair. The lint can be bad for the cave formations.

Another person in the U.S. has just been diagnosed with Ebola. Doctor Craig Spencer who’s in New York, had just gotten back from treating Ebola patients in West Africa. He’s now isolated, and being treated at a hospital in Manhattan, while his family is being watched.
