Chris’ Friday Afternoon Forecast

Another very warm day is ahead.  Many areas in the state could be setting record highs later on this afternoon.   A ridge of high pressure continues to be in control of our weather.   So that means more sunshine, warm temps, and dry conditions as we head in to the weekend.   A storm system will pass to our north on Sunday.  Unfortunately, this won’t bring any moisture to New Mexico instead it will kick up the wind for Sunday.   This storm system will drag in a cold front behind it and the front will drop temperatures back to more seasonable highs by the beginning of next week.   Enjoy the weekend!
