Duke City to host medieval combat event

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Armored Combat League is bringing a medieval-style combat tournament to the Duke City on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Expo New Mexico.

Men and women will go head-to-head in full armor with actual weapons that have been dulled for safety. There will be singles, small team combat and mass melees. Doors will open at noon that day and all ages are welcome. People are not allowed to sign up to fight because the combat is for professionals who have undergone a lot of training for the tournament.

The Armored Combat League is recognized internationally, and The USA Knights are currently world champions. To learn more about the league and more specifically the USA Knights, visit there webpage here.
