Chris’ Thursday Afternoon Forecast

The remnants of Simon continue to move through New Mexico this afternoon.   This could bring more rain to Albuquerque later today into the evening.   This unfortunately could put a damper on the festivities at Balloon Fiesta Park tonight for the Glowdeo and Fireworks.   On Friday, the shower activity will shift farther to north and northeast as another cold front rolls in.   The main impacts in Albuquerque from this front will be strong winds Friday night into Saturday morning.   Most of the shower chances for the weekend will stay in the northeast.   But, another cold front rolls in Sunday night and that will bring a big drop in temperatures for the beginning of next week.
