ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque police have arrested a suspect they’re calling a serial home burglar, who made off with more than $100,000 in stolen loot.

Police said it took seven months of investigating to identify and arrest 35-year-old Jose Valles. When detectives searched Valles’ home and a storage unit, they found quite the haul. Police found laptops, tablets, gaming systems, firearms, jewelry and money.

APD said Valles hit homes in the Eubank and Lexington area.

They have identified 30 victims, and some of the property has been returned. But APD is still trying to find the owners of a lot of items.

They will be showing it off to the public Tuesday afternoon.

APD said Valles confessed to the crimes and charges are pending for his brother John.
