Otero County flooding

ALAMOGORDO, N.M. (KRQE) – More rain for southeastern New Mexico Wednesday night causing an even bigger mess. Areas of Otero County near Alamogordo flooded. There was so much rain mud slid through neighborhoods trapping some cars.

While there are no reports of homes being flooding, some roads are closed because they impassable. Two people went missing during the storms but have since been found safe.

Heavy rains also fell in Roswell Wednesday night. More than two inches fell leaving some deep water on some roads. Drivers say they had to take it slow and steady to make it through without stalling.
