ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A crazy scene captured on video. It happened outside school board member and Breaking Bad star Steven Michael Quezada’s home. His daughter’s parked car was hit three separate times over the span of 17 minutes. Since Quezada posted the video to his Facebook on Wednesday, it has been viewed more than 41,000 times.
At 7:17 a.m., the morning came crashing in on the Quezada family on Wednesday on Albuquerque’s west side.
“I am driving down the freeway, taking my youngest daughter to school and my wife calls me on the phone and she goes, ‘Oh my god, they just hit Analisa’s car,’” Quezada said.
An SUV crashed into the blue car belonging to Quezada’s 19-year-old daughter. Twelve minutes later, a truck takes a slow roll right into it again.
“My wife calls me and says, ‘They hit the car again! They hit her again!’” Quezada said.
The rising sun is blinding on the street, as the driver of the white truck turns another truck plows into both parked cars. A disaster, even Quezada admits, he had to see to believe. He immediately got home and checked his security camera.
“I don’t think people still believe it. They think I made it up. Well he’s a moviemaker, he made that,” Quezada said.
Neighbors said they avoid parking on the street because it’s so narrow and because of the sun.
“Once it comes in this way, it’s a blind spot,” said Dinah Lowe.
Quezada said the video also highlights a problem with drivers speeding through this residential area.
“We are just hoping that we would get some attention,” Quezada said. “We’re going to start, we need to get people to start looking at putting some speed bumps on the street”.
No one was hurt in any of the crashes and everyone stuck around to offer up their insurance information.
