ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – An Albuquerque is accused of throwing a glass bottle at her neighbor’s two-year-old son and yelling racial slurs.
Kim Vandevoorde is charged with child abuse for the incident.
According to the neighbor, Vandevoorde had been breaking bottles on the sidewalk all night and when the 2 year old walked out, Vandevoorde yelled at him, ‘You Mexicans need to go back to where you come from and get a job!”
It was at that point she allegedly threw the bottle causing a cut on the child’s eye.
Vandevoorde denies the claim, only stating that the neighbors were partying all night and had loud music playing.
