A strong cold front continues to barrel through New Mexico packing a punch with cold air, strong wind, and heavy rain. Southeastern New Mexico is getting hammered with heavy rain this afternoon and that is where flash flood watches/warnings continue for the rest of the day. Places like Las Vegas, Raton, and Tucumcari will be lucky to hit the mid 50s for highs. As of noon temps were stuck in the upper 40s. The metro will feel a cool down, but more than anything else it will be the wind. Expect winds to gust from 40 to 45 mph this afternoon.
