Chris’ Thursday Afternoon Forecast

An area of high pressure that was blocking out the moisture and heating us up is moving east.   That will allow tons of moisture to be pumped into the state and trigger scattered storms later today.  On top of that, a cold front will roll in from the northeast and that will drop temperatures even farther for the weekend and spark widespread storm activity on Friday.   Some storms could be on the strong side, producing small hail and gusty winds.   Also flash flooding will likely be an issue into the weekend.  Stay tuned for an active stretch of weather ahead!
