Carlsbad men accused of robbing delivery man

19-year-old Brian Hand, 18-year-old Gabriel Armendariz and 21-year-old Gonzalo Romero are accused of robbing a pizza delivery man.

CARLSBAD, N.M. (KRQE) – Three men have been arrested for allegedly holding up a pizza delivery man at gunpoint and taking off in the delivery van.

Carlsbad police say Sunday night 19-year-old Brian Hand, 18-year-old Gabriel Armendariz and 21-year-old Gonzalo Romero walked out of a Pizza Inn and held a gun to the delivery driver’s neck and took about $300.

Police spotted the delivery van minutes later and chased it until the van crashed.

Police say the three men started running but were caught.
