VA to host public meetings over concerns

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Veteran Affairs office will host public meetings for veterans to vent about the state of the current health care system including disability claims.

This comes after numerous complaints and an investigation into the department for improper wait times which resulted in deaths.

Officials will be on hand to address individual questions and needs

The first meeting take place at 11 a.m. Sept. 10 at the New Mexico Veteran’s Memorial on Louisiana Blvd. The second meeting will be held later that afternoon at 1 p.m. at the same location. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
