ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The city of Albuquerque is giving away some bus passes hoping to get more APS students to school so they can graduate.

Five-hundred bus passes were given Tuesday to students who attend New Futures High School. Most of the students at that school are pregnant or young parents.

APS and the city say these students and their families often have transportation difficulties. Giving the students free bus passes can help them focus on studies.
