Carlsbad man wanted for buying stolen metal


CARLSBAD, N.M. (KRQE) – Police are on the hunt for the owner of a Carlsbad scrap yard who may have knowingly been buying stolen mental.

Donald Ensor, owns quality recycling a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Sources told News 13 he’s facing charges of racketeering, extortion, receiving stolen property, larceny and bribery of a witness.

Police haven’t released many details, but News 13 has learned his business was searched back in 2011 in connection with a case involving a string of local thefts.

Officers were searching for $300,000 worth of stolen property, from a metal company, block company and electric business.
