APD: Motorcyclist killed after failing to stop

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in southwest Albuquerque.

The Albuquerque Police Department says the preliminary investigation reveals the motorcycle driver failed to stop at a four-way intersection at 98th and Blake when it struck a vehicle that was already in the intersection.

APD says the motorcycle driver passed away at the scene.

Police say alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash. At this time the intersection is closed as police investigate.
