Man accused of breaking into auto sales business

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A man has been arrested for allegedly breaking into the Zia Auto Sales early Monday morning.

Albuquerque Police Department officials said officers were dispatched around 3:50 a.m. to the company located on the 4900 block of Menaul.

Upon arrival, officers saw a window had been broken. While searching inside, they say they found Jose Monge, 30, hiding under a desk in a back office.

Monge was arrested and faces charges of commercial burglary, larceny, possession of burglary tools and battery on a police officer.
