Police search for ABQ robbery suspects

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Police have arrested one man and are now looking for two of his accomplices after police say the trio held up several elderly women in the metro some at gun point.

According to criminal complaint several of the robberies occurred outside grocery stores and Walmarts.

Police say Andre Nevarez, Marie Jones and Breanna Aguilar snatched purses and wallets holding some of those senior citizens at gun point before fleeing the scene.

One of the victims was able to memorize the license plate leading them to Nevarez who had already made several purchases with the victim’s credit card.

Once in custody Nevarez then identified both Jones and Aguilar as his accomplices.
