High pressure is parked over the Four Corners and that is bringing in drier air along with hotter temperatures. Despite the high that usually brings drier conditions, there’s still a ton of moisture in place to spark scattered storms tonight with areas of heavy rain. As we go into Monday, the high pressure system will be parked right over the state limiting our storm chances even more to the mountains. Temperatures will climb above average on Monday, but by the middle of the week the high moves east and that will open the door for more moisture to move back into the state.
