APD looking for clues in shooting of fire station

Albuquerque police are looking for information after someone fired shots at an Albuquerque fire department.

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police are looking for the person or group responsible for shooting at Fire Station 19 near Comanche and Carlisle in Northeast Albuquerque.

The shooting happened around 9:45 p.m. on Thursday night at the Albuquerque Fire Department station located at 3520 San Andres Avenue.

Three windows were shot and one of the bullets also struck a wall. Firefighters say they were inside the building at the time, but were not able to see a suspect or vehicle in the area. None of the firefighters were injured in the incident.

Albuquerque Police say they also have no leads at this time to any possible suspects. If anyone has information, they are asked to call 242-COPS.
