Adoption process begins for Sam the kitten

The Bosque Animal Clinic is now taking applications from those wishing to adopt the kitten who was thrown from a moving truck.

LOS LUNAS, N.M. (KRQE) – The adoption application process for Sam the kitten, is in full swing. News 13 told you about the 8-week-old kitten who was injured after being hurled from a moving truck and into a brick wall last month and had to have his left leg amputated.

Video of him just last week shows him playing after his operation.

Sam is doing so well the Bosque Animal Clinic is taking adoption applications starting Friday.

If you are on the list and don’t receive an application by then, they suggest calling the office to request one. The clinic will review applications next week and look into home visits as needed.

The person who threw Sam out of the truck on Camelot Boulevard in Los Lunas still has not been caught.
