Meteor shower puts on a big show

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – In case you missed it, a meteor shower hit New Mexico last night.

Astronomers say about 30 to 40 meteors per hour were visible from the Land of Enchantment.

It was the perseid meteor shower and it started around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and peaked around 3 a.m. Wednesday.
