Taos ranked best place for August visits

TAOS, N.M. (KRQE) – It appears now is the time to visit Taos, New Mexico.

According to USA Today, Taos is the best place to visit in August.

The paper says the town has it all including warm temperatures and sunshine. There are plenty of outdoor activities like hiking in the nearby Sangre de Cristo Mountains. USA Today also recommends the many galleries and restaurants there.

Taos has been featured in other recent lists like Yahoo’s “America’s coolest desert towns” and one of CNN’s “best places to experience Native American culture.”
