TAOS, N.M. (KRQE) – A Taos painter’s work could soon show up in on presidential campaign posters and billboards.
The HillaryPac commissioned artist Kimberly Webber to paint a portrait of the possible presidential candidate.
She says they discovered her work after she had an art show in Los Angeles.
Webber, who has a gallery in Taos, says she normally stays away from politics in her work.
“I had to work through my own skepticism I guess you could say, but I was reaching for the higher ideals of what this could mean,” Webber said. “That’s what I really focused on when I created this portrait.”
The painting is already featured on the HillaryPac website.
