Security guard arrested after exposing self

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque police arrested a security guard who is accused of forcing a woman into an apartment and exposing himself to her.

It happened Sunday at the Villa Hermosa Apartments near 57th Street and Ouray.

The woman said she went outside just before 4 a.m. to look for her lost cat. That’s when police say she encountered Bryce Harper, a security guard.

According to the criminal complaint, Harper grabbed the woman, pulled her into a vacant apartment and exposed himself.

When the woman screamed, police say her son and his friend rushed in to help her. That’s when Harper allegedly pulled a gun and fired two shots.

No one was injured and police say Harper fled the scene.

Harper faced a judge Monday on a kidnapping charge. The judge set his bond at $25,000 cash or surety.

She also ordered him to stay away from the apartment complex.
